This decorative bowl came from the pair’s experiments with throwing clay on the wheel, pulling up the side wall as straight as possible while seeing just how thinly they could pull the rim. The result is a bowl of arresting beauty, with the uneven ‘flake’ of the rim intriguingly contrasted with the clean vertical lines of the side wall. The unglazed black clay exterior matched with a viridian glazed interior further highlights the simplicity of the bowl’s form and handmade origin, making this a classic, elegant addition to your home.
Also available in unglazed terracotta with an interior mustard glaze.

Our ceramicware is made and glazed by hand. Each ceramic piece is therefore a unique creation, and slight variations in shape, colour and glaze flow patterns can be expected.
Care Instructions
Hand wash with care - warm water and soap. Not recommended for dishwasher. Not microwave or oven safe.
Avoid utensils in the bowl as flaked rim can chip with rough use.
